Police: Lost 10-year-old boy found safe

Police said a 10-year-old boy who vanished from the Far South Side Saturday morning has been found safe, according to a release from police News Affairs.
Neil Escedreau -- who goes by the nickname “E.J.” -- was last seen Saturday at 9 a.m. in the first block of West 112th Place, according to a missing persons alert issued by Calumet Area detectives.
The police News Affairs release, sent about 7:15 a.m., said the child had been found safe.
Escedreau was described as a 5-foot-1, 105 pound black male, with brown eyes, black hair and a dark complexion, the alert said.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a red long sleeve shirt, dark khaki pants and red gym shoes, and frequents Palmer Park located at 11100 S. King Dr., according to the alert.
