A young girl has been reported missing in Sullivan and the Sullivan Police Department has asked for help from the public in finding her.
Ashley Sanagaio is eight years old.
News stations in Terre Haute are reporting that she was having dinner with her father on Sunday, at home in the 300 block of Beech Street in Sullivan. He left the room and when he returned around 6:50 p.m., she was gone.
Sullivan police officers, Sullivan County deputies, Indiana conservation officers and firefighters were reported to be searching everywhere for this girl.
She is eight years old, is approximately 40 inches tall and weighs 60 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing purple pants with a tie-dye t-shirt and black shoes with the letter "E" on the side.
As of late Sunday night, an Amber Alert had not been issued -- police said they were told this situation does not meet the criteria to qualify for an Amber Alert.
