|  Human remains found nearly two months ago near Bridgeton Elementary School have been identified as a missing teenager.
Craven County District Attorney Scott Thomas says the bones found off Avery Road belong to Robert Scott, Jr. of Bridgeton.
The 19-year-old was last seen on February 4th, 2010 as he was walking away from the Cedar Street area of New Bern.
At the time police believed his disappearance may have been the result of foul play.
Thomas says the man's family has been notified and the death investigation is ongoing.
Authorities say they do not yet know how Scott died.
